Evidence to Impact is pleased to announce new small-scale R&D collaborations with three new Universities, as well as new projects with academics from the University of Bristol to support them to maximise the impact of their research.

Evidence to Impact is currently supporting research groups at the University of Lancaster, University of Glasgow and University of Stirling on active public-health research programmes - ranging from small pieces of consultancy, to potential licensing opportunities.

EI has also completed an outline business plan and market appraisal for the academics at the University of Bristol who are about to embark on an enhanced trial of an early-intervention to support patients suffering from Type 2 diabetes.

The CEO of Evidence to Impact, Paul Harrod, said "our aim is to bridge the gap between great research and the point at which it can be rolled out in hospitals, schools or communities.  We want to support academics to maximise the impact of their research, and to help small-scale interventions to reach other parts of the UK."
